AT&T

Committed to expanding its supplier diversity program, AT&T turned to its Tier One partner, Guy Brown Products for assistance. AT&T asked Guy Brown Products to partner with one of their MBE partners to create a Tier Two partnership thereby expanding their product services with MBEs. South Coast Paper was the right fit for the job.

South Coast Paper worked with Guy Brown Products along with fulfillment partners Office Max and Staples to maintain AT&T product requirements. All elements of the business were reviewed from stocking needs to support the business, along with the specific paper requirements. South Coast Paper and Guy Brown Products conducted extensive trial work with samples of the copy paper provided by South Coast Paper to ensure that AT&T's print needs were completely satisfied.

Once benchmarks and best practices were set, a cost analysis and spending plan had to be created. South Coast Paper was able to meet all service requirements and cost objectives to provide both AT&T and Guy Brown Products with a competitive Tier Two program on copy paper for all North American AT&T facilities.

NewPage - Miamisburg, Ohio

Southern California Edison - Irvine, California

One of the largest utility providers in the nation, Southern California Edison (SCE), made a priority of achieving supplier diversity spending goals. South Coast Paper began their relationship with SCE slowly, by careful study and observation of SCE's diversity spend objective. It was clear to South Coast Paper that the DPS Copy Paper was a natural fit and a seamless way to help SCE achieve their goals.

Almost five years later, expertise, and perseverance were rewarded with an all-encompassing contract that made South Coast Paper the sole supplier to this company.

In 2010, South Coast Paper was recognized as SCE's Diversity Supplier of the Year and was featured in SCE's public service video promoting diversity.
