June 6, 2011-- Generating waste is almost unavoidable, but segregating paper according to grade and type of trim waste is controllable. One of South Coast Paper’s primary sustainability goals is to continually refine the process of properly segregating waste paper for recycling. With the purchase of a third baler, South Coast Paper has become more efficient in segregating trim waste without having to slow production. Why is this significant? Proper segregation of trim waste allows for proper reuse and recycling of the resource thus saving time, energy and money.
