South Coast Paper’s New Business Development on the Rise
Maplesville, AL plant grand opening November 2005 is a huge success for SouthCoast Paper, LLC. South Coast Paper LLC proudly announces that they have relocated their existing 70,000 sp. Plant (Hammond, LA) to a new 200,000 sq. ft facility in Maplesville, AL. SouthCoast Paper, LLC. is an independent paper converting, paper packaging sales and marketing company in its 6th year of operations and on the fast track to new and exciting endeavors.
SouthCoast Paper, LLC. is pleased to announce that this new endeavor will yield new business prospects and new employment for the citizens of Maplesville and surrounding areas. The Maplesville site will bring new jobs to a labor force that was left depleted when Maplesville’s Gulf States operation closed several years ago. “I believe there are skills in the local workforce that we could use,” states SouthCoast, LLC, managing member, Paul Mitchell.
SouthCoast Paper, LLC. has added additional skilled personnel to their plant as well as their headquarter offices. SouthCoast Paper, LLC. has invested roughly 2.5 million in new operational equipment as well as another 2 million in a fully functional and operational facility. This investment will lend SouthCoast Paper, LLC. a competitive edge towards achieving their goals of diversifying their products and services to both customers and suppliers..
Parallel to the move to Maplesville, SouthCoast, LLC. has also secured a new home for their headquarter office, nestled in the metropolitan area of, Atlanta, GA. Moving their offices to Atlanta was a strategic move as well, acting as central hub for both national and international business as well as being in closer proximity to new paper plant. SouthCoast Paper, LLC. has expanded their capabilities by merging their sales, marketing and management team to a central location and utilizing innovative information technology systems to better communicate with supplies and customers. SouthCoast Paper, LLC. looks forward to new business relationships here in the Atlanta area.

The company will launch a new e-commerce initiative, marketing and branding initiatives while continuing to strengthen and build new strategic alliances.
