South Coast Paper Unveils New Corporate Logo as First Phase of Brand
ATLANTA, GA, February 1, 2006, South Coast Paper unveils its new logo and tagline as the first phase of their new brand identity. This new brand identity marks a significant milestone in the company’s history, future growth and vision, and further, positions the company as a leading paper manufacturer both nationally and internationally.
The refreshed look and feel of the new logo speaks to the fortitude of the brand. The brand will have a unified look and feel across all of South Coast Paper communications (signage, billing, communications, sales and marketing materials). “Our goal is to create a trusted, powerful brand that is identifiable globally,” said Managing Partner, Paul Mitchell.”
When the company decided to change their positioning in the marketplace last year, it caused a ripple effect within the corporate model. The new direction will be to focus on three major components: strengthening supplier and customer relationships: improving procedural processes: and investing in technology excellence. South Coast Paper’s President, Kenneth Loyd states, “We make no pretenses, and credit our success to distinct advantages – very good suppliers, great customers and truly talented people.” We are confident that the new look of South Coast Paper will give us the leverage to penetrate new markets and attract new customers.”
Logo Design The new logo is a crisp and clean version of the old. The “S” icon is a representation of the brand namesake – South Coast Paper - and also represents strength, stability and substance. The tagline, Products/Performance/Possibilities – speaks to diversified product offerings, quality of service provided to customers and the unique paper solutions that are being offered throughout the enterprise.
The new logo, represents better communication, better branding and better positioning in the marketplace.
Brand Development Brand development will be an extensive campaign comprised of several components: a new comprehensive marketing campaign; multimedia advertising; and launch of a new corporate and e-commerce site. The campaign is due for completion by the second quarter of 2006.
With the forthcoming launch of the new e-commerce site, customers will be able to conduct e-business with South Coast Paper at the click of a button. South Coast Paper has invested in top of the line technology and equipment to carry out the functions of their new site. They have also invested in highly skilled personnel, thorough research, quality training and extensive testing phases all for the purpose of providing seamless purchasing options for their clients and impeccable customer service.
